Sucina
Penthouse Mikie is less than a ten-minute drive from the bustling Spanish village of Sucina. Sucina offers everything you may need, including a supermarket, pharmacy, petrol station, and a selection of bars and restaurants, many offering free pick up and drop off to the resort.
Beaches ​
The seaside town of Los Alcázares is just a twenty-minute drive from Penthouse Mikie with sandy beaches and shallow sea. The town features many shops, bars and restaurants. Dos Mares, also a twenty-minute drive, is a lovely indoor shopping centre open every day with a cinema, food court and offering a great range of shops.
Scenary and Mountains
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort sits in scenic open countryside and provides ample opportunity to those who enjoy walking and cycling. (bike hire?) The lake at Torremendo is around a twenty-minute drive through the countryside and provides good carp and black bass fishing. For the more adventurous, there are several hiking trails of varying difficulty ratings in the nearby Sierra de Carrascoy mountain range.
Murcia
The regions capital, Murcia, is approximately thirty minutes by car and is a wonderful place to spend the day sightseeing the local attractions including the Cathedral, Real Casino de Murcia, Museum Salzillo, Floridablanca Gardens and Castillo de Monteagudo.
